Anthropes© are the creation of Jill Mulligan and are constructed from found objects such as feathers, rocks, and wood. All objects are cleaned thoroughly before being combined, utilizing archival materials in the process. Each Anthrope creates a feeling of action, frozen in time, with the concept of invoking the imagination to create a story around the action. The name Anthrope© is coined from the word, anthropology, to mean little beings. Designs do not represent any specific culture nor ethnic group.
